The life that is fulfilled is a life that is filled to the fullest. A fulfilled life is one that overflows with life and the joy of living impacts those around them. There is something contagious about a person who enjoys life. They seem to infuse life into others and people leave their presence wanting to have what they have. A fulfilled life is a life that is everything that God designed for it to be. The fulfilled person’s life is not robbed of it’s potential, or it’s capacity to live in the present, or it’s relationships nor it’s joy. They are living life to the fullest in every area of life.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10
The fulfilled life is only possible when a person comes to Jesus Christ and gives their life to Him. He gives back an abundant life that can only be found in Him. The life that He gives to each person who will give their life fully to Him is the very life that they long for and that God designed for them to live. When we try to live life a part from God then we will fail, be frustrated and eventually want to give up for we will feel that it is not possible. It is not possible when we try to live life on our own. The Lord is the source of all life, the giver of life and He is life.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6
When a person receives Jesus Christ into their life then they receive not only eternal life but life to be lived in the present. They no longer just exist but they will find purpose and meaning in life. They will find the very reason why the Lord made them and as God’s plan is fulfilled in their life then they will be fulfilled.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, John 1:12
All of creation was created to fulfill their design in life. All of creation looks to God except for man. Man in his arrogance and pride chose to go his own way. When man went his own way then he chose death, guilt and shame. When Jesus Christ came and died on the cross for the world, He took our sin, our guilt and our shame. When a person receives Jesus Christ then all of their sin is forgiven, their guilt is taken away and their shame is removed. They can start life all over as a new person. The past is in the past and no longer defines the person who has given their life to the Lord. They have become a new creation in Christ.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. II Corinthians 5:17
The new Christian can now know God and accomplish what God designed for him to be and do. When he or she does this then they will be fulfilled. They will experience great joy and great peace for they will know that there is One who loves them and gave His life for them, that they might have life.
This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. John 17:3,4
If you are not fulfilled in life or feel that your life has little meaning or purpose then the Lord invites you to come to Him. He will give you what you need and He will take away the very things that cause you much grief. He will teach you how to live life to the fullest and you will thrive. Life will become exciting and you will have a joy that you have never known before. Jesus Christ loves you. He came to give you life and to bring meaning and purpose into your life. He wants to come into your life and make you into the person that you were created to be. Give your life to Him and let Him show you what it means to live a fulfilled life.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20
Today is the day of salvation. Salvation belongs to God and He gives it to those who come humbly to Him and ask Jesus Christ to take control of their life and become their Lord and Savior.
Today, if you would hear His voice, Psalm 95:7b
for He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”— II Corinthians 6:2
Salvation belongs to the Lord; Psalm 3:8a
